我一直是 gemini-cli 的忠实用户，用它完成了不少功能开发。得益于谷歌的财大气粗（抢夺市场），即使免费额度也能够满足大部分开发者的日常需求。但随着 Gemini 3、Nano Banana Pro 等新功能的发布，免费额度逐渐有些捉襟见肘，而且我最近也在尝试一些视频生成的功能，基本上都需要收费，于是想着订阅一个付费版本，以满足我的使用需求。
没有过多的纠结，我选择了 Google AI Pro 的月度订阅计划，价格为每月 19.9 美元。这个价格对于我来说是可以接受的，毕竟能够获得更高的使用额度和更多的功能支持。 光是 2TB 的 Google Drive 就已经很划算了。下表是 NotebookLM 的功能对比（Notebook 不了解的可以参考这里）

但是在订阅时，遇到一个很棘手的问题：
This account isn't eligible for Google AI plan Google AI plan isn't available in some countries or for people under a certain age
问题其实很简单，就是谷歌的 AI 功能不对大陆用户开放，但我用的是美国的 VPN，所以理论上是可以订阅的。不知道哪里判定了错误的地址，导致无法订阅。
谷歌论坛的这个贴子描述了类似问题，也给出了一些排查手段：
- 确认所在国家/地区可用
- 确认 Google 账户的出生日期符合年龄要求，Update your account to meet age requirements - Google Account Help
- 确认不是家庭群组成员，Join or leave a family on Google - Google For Families Help
- 确认 Google Play 中的地址正确，How to change your Google Play country - YouTube
- 确认 Google 账户中的地址正确
访问 https://policies.google.com/terms 可以查看所述地区，我这里显示的是 United States，说明 VPN 是正常的，那问题出在哪里呢？

上面帖子最后给了个兜底方案，联系 Google One 的在线客服，帮忙解决这个问题。客服很耐心，我编造了自己的背景：住在加州，但是经常去 Hong Kong 出差。客服也没过多质疑就信了。通过一番沟通找到了问题所在：是 Google Play 的地址不对。我很久之前绑定招商的双币 Visa 信用卡时，随手填写了个 Hong Kong 的地址，这才导致无法订阅 Google AI Pro。
客服也给出了解法，添加一个新的支付档案（Payment profile），写成美国地址：
- Sign in to payments.google.com.
- Tap Menu the 3 horizontal lines then click Settings.
- Under “Payments profile,” next to “Country/Region,” click Edit Edit.
- When a message opens, click Create new profile.
- When a new message opens, click Continue.
- Choose the country or region for the new profile.
- Enter the address and click Submit.
按照客服的指引，添加了一个新的支付档案，地址随便谷歌找了一个加州的地址，之后再在 Google Play 查看（点击右上角的个人 Profile 图片，选择“Setting”，找到 General 里面的 Account and device preferences），地区就已经是 United States 了。这时再回到 Google AI Pro 的订阅页面，重新尝试订阅，这次顺利通过了，没有再出现之前的错误提示。
